How Lucas Media starts a client relationship.
Our approach to creating an excellent service will ideally include getting to know the companies representative and/or the Communications and Marketing team members, your culture and your expectations.
It will be vitally important to establish good relationships early on, and build on them throughout the lifetime of project, contract or ongoing business relationship. This is a familiar approach for us at Lucas Media, and we successfully use it for all of our key customers.
Experience tells us that face-to-face engagement is the most effective way of building this level of understanding. Therefore, especially at the start of our relationship, as well as at the beginning of every new project or activity, we will arrange meetings with your key people in order to fully understand the requirements.
If travel and movement restrictions continue in 2020 and even beyond, however, we will engage remotely utilising video conferencing facilities or the good old fashion phone.
Our number one priority with any client is to deliver what is expected of us on time and within an agreed budget. We are an agile and forward thinking agency who are proven problem solvers and don’t get distracted from the job in hand and give 100% focus to any job no matter how big or small.

Account management approach
We have robust project management principles in place to ensure that all the stakeholders in a project are always clear about what is being delivered and by whom. We invest time in using tools and techniques to keep projects on-track in terms of time, budget and quality.
We would be responsible for workload planning and continually monitoring capacity to ensure projects can be delivered on time. In the event that we are commissioned to deliver concurrent projects, activities and resources will be carefully managed by Lucas Media to ensure there are no overlaps or calendar clashes. Our large pool of proven associates further supports our ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
Since, if not carefully managed, speed can lead to mistakes being made or quality compromised, a key aspect of the production and delivery process is to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout a project. Incrementally we will update and feedback on the progress and if there are any changes that we need to implement to make things run smoother we will communicate with all involved.
We take the importance of brand guidelines and stylistic approaches very seriously and will fully commit to working within them. We recognise that, as video production and animation are dynamic and fast-moving fields, we may need to support the in house creative and marketing teams in the advancement of the guidelines to accommodate any changes from the brand guidelines or new advancements in technology. For example if a new file format or technology becomes a more standard way of working or a new approach would be aesthetically more pleasing we would implement this after practical discussion. A prime example of this would be the rise in popularity of different size video resolutions that sometimes are required outside of the standard 16:9 file format. Businesses are now expectant of square or 9:16 file sizes to maximise social media real estate across their social media channels. All these considerations would be discussed at the planning stages of a project. This is standard practice for the majority of our client relationships and see it as a continuation in the building of a successful team effort.
This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of quality of service if you have any questions or want to pick our brains click here to send a message.
